deugro USA appoints Richard Juergens

Richard Juergens has joined deugro (USA), Inc. as Vice President Projects North America. He will be responsible for project development and the technical support of deugro’s project activities, mainly in the sectors of oil and gas, power generation and infrastructure.

In the past, Richard Juergens has held numerous key project management positions within deugro focusing on both business development and operational management. He has gained vast experience in project logistics over the last 20 years, working on complex projects in the USA, the Middle East, Southern and East Africa, Asia as well as Oceania.

In his previous role, Richard Juergens worked for deugro Oman as Projects Manager – Oman, mainly responsible for the Liwa Plastics Industries Complex Project. For this major capital investment project, deugro shipped a total of 1 million freight tons of equipment from multiple global origins into Sohar and Duqm, Oman. Richard Juergens now returns to Houston, Texas, which he left back in 2006.
