Looking back on an eventful week at Breakbulk Americas

Breakbulk Americas took place from October 2 to 4 and was marked by a series of highlights for deugro: productive conversations with international attendees and exhibitors, various workshops, and other events at this year’s trade show. It was the welcoming atmosphere that led to good talks and great opportunities for networking. On the first day, the organizer of the event announced a record-breaking attendance at the Port Houston Welcome Reception.

Dominik Stehle, Executive Vice President for the deugro group, moderated the Breakbulk Americas’ Thursday debate: “The Project Sector: Is the Tide Turning?” The debate enjoyed a high level of participation and gave interesting industry insights on how the multi-purpose shipping market will develop going forward.

Apart from presenting deugro’s service portfolio, deugro’s new and dynamic corporate design, logo and website were launched to the public for the first time.

Once again, the whole event enjoyed a strong turnout from other major international freight forwarders, carriers, project cargo service providers, and shippers. deugro’s representatives traveled from around the world to attend this trade show.
