Compliance

deugro is a trusted project logistics provider for all industries around the world. From day one, it has been our philosophy to work with utmost integrity and business ethics. Our commitment is lived top–down by everyone from our shareholders and Management Board to all our employees and stakeholders in international logistics.

Compliance Management System

Our Compliance Management System (CMS) was designed to consider various international regulations and recognized standards, including the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the UK Bribery Act 2010 (UKBA), and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Our Code of Ethics and Compliance and our Anti-Corruption Compliance Policy serve as the foundation for our CMS, and are reviewed, updated and acknowledged by all deugro group employees on an annual basis.

To keep our employees involved in our efforts to live and maintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity in daily project logistics, we also offer frequent compliance training as well as internal programs to constantly raise awareness on compliance and to actively involve employees.

Corporate Governance

Governing Body

The starting point for setting the corporate tone at deugro begins with our Governing Body: the Management Board including our Chairman and Co-CEO. The Governing Body is accountable for ensuring that compliance objectives are built into deugro’s strategy and that the Compliance Management System meets established corporate compliance objectives.

Compliance Committee (ComCom)

deugro strives to ensure that compliance is easy, manageable and well-integrated into everything we do. A primary objective is to safeguard our stakeholders against the risks that they may face in their day-to-day business by making sure compliance is strongly anchored at all levels of the organization. As a result, a new Compliance Committee (ComCom) was established in 2020 to strengthen compliance governance and ensure that compliance objectives and strategies are aligned with deugro’s strategy and associated risks.

The ComCom is comprised of leaders from different areas of the business and all levels of the hierarchy who serve as an advisory body to the Management Board.

Compliance Department

The Compliance Department, led by a trained and certified attorney, is an objective body of deugro. It advises on compliance with the rules and regulations of applicable regulatory agencies, develops and implements company policies and procedures, and establishes effective controls to monitor behavior throughout the organization.

Ethics and Compliance

deugro is committed to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and integrity. These standards are mandatory and must be followed at all times. To view the deugro group Ethics and Compliance Policy Statement and related Corporate Policies, please click here.
